Gino is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of South Bay Dizziness & Vertigo Physical Therapy, a one-on-one mobile concierge physical therapy practice dedicated to helping people overcome dizziness, vertigo, balance problems, and other vestibular disorders.
Gino earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC), where he developed an interest in vestibular physical therapy. He previously earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Science, from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB).
His clinical focus is centered around the vestibular system and the wide range of conditions that can affect a person's balance, confidence, and quality of life. Gino works with individuals experiencing BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, Ménière’s disease, cervicogenic dizziness, vestibular migraine, persistent postural perceptual dizziness (PPPD), concussion related dizziness, and other vestibular conditions.
Gino was drawn to vestibular physical therapy because of how fascinating and complex the vestibular system is. He also recognized a significant need for specialized care in this area. Dizziness and vertigo can be frustrating and disruptive, and many people struggle to find a physical therapist who focuses specifically on these conditions.
Gino wanted to help fill that gap.
His goal is simple. He wants to provide people struggling with dizziness and balance disorders with specialized, individualized care from a physical therapist who understands the vestibular system and takes the time to understand each patient as an individual.
At South Bay Dizziness & Vertigo Physical Therapy, treatment is intentionally one-on-one. Gino takes a thorough approach to each evaluation, listens carefully to the patient's symptoms and concerns, and develops an individualized treatment plan based on their specific needs and goals. He believes patients should understand what is happening with their bodies and why they are doing certain exercises or treatments, rather than simply being handed a list of exercises and sent on their way.
Just as importantly, Gino believes effective care starts with trust. His approach is warm, compassionate, honest, and approachable. He wants patients to feel heard, understood, and comfortable asking questions throughout their care.
Gino grew up in Torrance and has deep roots in the South Bay. He is still living in Torrance, now with his wife and son, and he is passionate about giving back to his community.
Outside of physical therapy, Gino enjoys staying active through exercise, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and camping. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family.
For Gino, caring for patients in the South Bay is about more than providing physical therapy. It is an opportunity to help people in his own community get back to the activities, independence, and life they enjoy.
If dizziness or vertigo is keeping you from doing the things you love, Gino is here to help you move forward with confidence.
